Somewhat new to the industry, Sports Afield has been growing rapidly due to their insanely competitive products.
Made with all steel uni-body construction, the Sports Afield SA5925HX is CA DOJ Approved and will do a great job of keeping your firearms locked away from kids. Keeping the door in place are 10 solid steel chrome-plated 1.5″ locking bolts. The door opens on two external pin hinges after the correct combination is entered into the Print Guard Electronic Lock. This lock has a 2 Digit random code that has to be inputted before the combination can be entered on the digital keypad. This design ensures others can’t depict the combination by your fingerprints on the keypad. This lock also features a back-up key override guaranteeing access to your safe. The lock is also protected by a hardplate that will create more difficulty during a drill attack.
In addition to the security, the Sports Afield SA5925HX is fire resistant for 75 minutes at 1400°. Sports Afield also adds a triple door seal that expands to multiple times its size during a fire to prevent smoke from entering the safe keeping your contents safe and secure inside. Another feature of the triple door seal is its added water resistance. These safes can last a full 7 days at a water height of 2 ft.
Sports Afield also added a convenient door panel organizer on the back of the door capable of holding pistols, passports, jewelry and other small valuables.
The Sports Afield SA5925HX also includes a power outlet with 2 outlet plugins and 2 USB slots that allow you to charge your electronics inside the safe. This safe is already set up with an interior motion sensor light strip to easily see inside your safe at any point in the day.
These safes are styled with a chrome 5-spoke handle and a Dark Earthy Gray Matte finish. Four bolt down holes are pre-drilled to secure the safe to the floor.
