The Fireproof Keypad Safe by Hornady is the perfect choice for someone who doesn’t have a lot of valuables or space to store them but wants a safe that is built well and comes with fire protection.
The Hornady 95407 Fireproof Keypad Safe comes with a 30 minute fireproof rating up to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Fireproof Keypad Safe has an extremely heavy-duty steel door using thick 8-gauge steel. The body of the safe is built with 16-gauge steel. Securing the door are 8 total 1” thick steel locking bolts with 4 being active and 4 deadbolts on the hinge side.
The programmable electronic keypad on this Hornady safe gives you quick access to the contents of the safe. Two override keys are included as a backup method to access your safe in case the battery dies or if you forget your code. The electronic keypad has an LED warning light that will alert you when the battery is running low.
Once the safe is unlocked, a white light will illuminate the interior allowing you to easily find what you’re looking for inside even in the dark. The entire interior is lined with a carpeted material to protect your valuables from receiving scratches (or other damages) while safely stored inside. One removable and adjustable carpeted shelf is included inside for neatly storing more valuables.
The Hornady Fireproof Keypad Safe comes in a black powder-coated finish. On the bottom of the safe are 4 pre-drilled bolt down holes (mounting hardware included) to bolt the safe down to a fixed surface, which will prevent someone from simply walking away with your safe.
